We envision inspirational and aspirational products that are sophisticated in form, ethically sourced and functional to wear. We believe in products that empower the people wearing them and the artisans behind them.

We identified a gap in the market: consumers lacked easy access to diverse, ethically-made, high-quality leather footwear. The few options available came from only a couple of conventional sources—often at a steep cost. Shoppers would have to pay a high price tag or sacrifice quality and choice.

We honor our values and vision by offering functional, accessible-luxury products that are designed in NYC and handmade in-house at our family's atelier. Stivali New York crafting experience is rooted in passion, tradition and culture. We are shoemakers since 1998.

Shoemaking is an art, from its beginning from the known factories and designers in Italy. That is where our initial reference comes from, merged along with our indigenous and pre-hispanic history. Our heritage in the label shines through our sculptural yet functional products.

It takes an artist to create a shoe. Most people think only about the end-product, but there is so much more to it, and the global market more aware and interested to learn about it. There is where our generational history and conscious offer get the biggest value.

We hold in-house control of our supply chain. Stivali designs, handcrafts, distributes, markets, and sells high-quality leather footwear at an attainable price point. Something that we envision as accessible luxury. 

We are Lina Cristancho and Louis Guarin, Co-Founders of Stivali New York. We are a women’s leather footwear label established in 2016, when we got married and moved to NYC, with the American dream to build our vision from scratch.
